Synthesis of α-methylene-δ-valerolactone and its selective polymerization from a product mixture for concurrent separation and polymer production
We report the continuous, gas-phase synthesis of α-methylene-δ-valerolactone (MVL) from δ-valerolactone (DVL) and formaldehyde (FA) over alkaline earth oxide catalysts.
