Coupled TD Simulation project (Final Report)
This project implements coupled simulation of electric power grid transmission and distribution (T&D) by instantiating the co-simulation platform HELICS using a commercial distribution planning software CYMDIST1 by Eaton Inc., a power management company, and by leveraging the open-source transmission grid simulator GridDyn and LLNL’s High Performance Computing (HPC). The project is funded by DOE’s Technology Commercialization Funding (TCF) and supported by DOE Office of Technology Transitions (OTT).
