FISSS: Fluorescence Instrument for Solar System Science
Innovation Description: We propose to study the optimized excitation and emission wavelength to detect minerals and metabolites on the planetary surface. This will be accomplished within a small, low-power instrument that can operate within the realm of any the planetary bodies.
