Fluids, instabilities and turbulence [Slides]
This is a presentation for LANL's Young Women's Summer Camp. After explaining what fluids are and the wide range of applications studying fluids has, properties, patterns, and instabilities are discussed followed by an explanation of turbulence and why it is important. This is placed in the context of what scientists and engineers try to do to unlock the physics of the study of fluids.
