Electronographic photometry of extended objects. I - Reduction procedures
Attention is given to the reduction of electronographic camera images obtained with the aid of the Kron camera. A description is given of the equipment used to digitize the plate material. The response of the camera-emulsion-microdensitometer system is discussed along with present system performance figures. An outline is presented of existing and future computer reduction techniques.
