External Fast Electrically-Controlled Ferroelectric Tuners for SRF Cavities
Euclid Techlabs LLC, in collaboration with JLAB (R. Rimmer, C. Hovater) has been awarded the Phase I 2021 DOE SBIR DE-SC0021510 project to develop the first Fast Ferroelectric reactive tuner (FRT) for a SRF accelerator that is currently in operation – CEBAF at JLAB, and is studying the possibility of developing a tuner designs for various new applications: fast frequency switching, transient detuning, and microphonics compensation for the SRF accelerators.
