Graphite-epoxy door development for application to Space Shuttle.
The results of development of an advanced composite door landing-gear assembly are summarized. The development program consisted of design, analysis, fabrication, and structural testing of a door sector assembly designed to the operating loads expected for the Phase B Space Shuttle orbiter.
