Ambient Mass Spectrometer Data Analysis Pipeline Development
The ability to detect chemical + isotopic information for trace actinide samples is currently not available at SRNL. This negatively impacts our ability to explore, develop, and characterize signatures of nonproliferation interest. Paper spray ionization mass spectrometry (PSIMS) is a novel ambient mass spectrometry technique that promises to rectify this issue. PSI-MS produces copious amounts of data; thus, a data analysis pipeline is necessary to quickly extract meaningful results.
