NASA's Advanced Space Transportation Program: RTA Project Summary
This paper presents a general overview of NASA's Revolutionary Turbine Accelerator (RTA) Project. The contents include: 1) Why Turbine Accelerators; 2) Turbine Base Combination Cycle (TBCC) Interrelationships; 3) RTA Bridges the Gap Between Mach 3 and Mach 5; 4) TBCC and RTA; and 6) RTA Project Areas of Emphasis.
