Reflection and Scattering of Infrared Radiation from Free Space Laser Breakdown in Air
Ultrafast lasers are empowering tools for standoff material analysis. Here, we explore the use of laser produced plasmas as remotely-generated free space reflection and scattering elements to dramatically enhance infrared spectral signature collection.
