Research in Heavy-Ion Physics at CMS
This report sketches the activities of the Kansas Heavy Ion group over a period of 27 years. During that time the group has progressed from preparations for the BRAHMS experiment at RHIC, through the very exciting early years of RHIC, to great physics on the CMS experiment and finally preparations for the Electron Ion Collider.
