Novel High-Current SRF Cavity With On-Cell Waveguide Dampers
A new concept was proposed to improve the Higher-Order-Mode (HOM) damping in Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF) cavities beyond state-of-the-art. A prototype cavity was planned to be built and tested in JLab’s Vertical Test Area as a proof-of-principle.
