NASA’s Commercial Supersonic Research
Oral only presentation. The presentation is a summary of NASA's Commercial Supersonic Research on reducing the environmental impacts of commercial supersonic flight. The presentation begins by summarizing how the research supports the NASA Aeronautics Strategic plan. The focus of the presentation is the Low Boom Flight Demonstration Mission's efforts supporting the development of international standards for quiet supersonic flight over land. Research on reducing noise and emissions from supersonic aircraft is briefly summarized.
