Kinetic H 2 S/CO 2 selectivity in an exceptionally sterically hindered amine membrane
Decreasing membrane thickness reduces the reaction time for the competing amine-H 2 S and amine-CO 2 reactions, thus enhancing the selectivity for the “faster”, kinetically favored product, i.e. , hydrosulfide.
