Concepts, design criteria, and methodology will be examined in four areas: control systems, guidance systems, cockpit dialogue systems, and the integrated intelligence. The approach is to investigate these areas in an individual manner through analysis and simulation and in an integrated manner through simulation and flight. Finally, the integrated concepts will be validated in flight.
