Review of measurement and testing problems
Abstract
The exhaust emission test was designed to measure hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and oxides of nitrogen concentrations and determine mass emissions through calculations during a simulated aircraft landing-takeoff cycle. The calculations required to convert exhaust emission concentrations (raw emission measurements) into mass emissions were emphasized.
