Nuclear electro-optic power
Abstract
Tertiary-nuclear power cell utilizes alpha source from which radiated particles strike phosphore which in turn emits photons that are converted to electricity by solar cell. Experiments indicated that device is capable of providing sufficient power for numerous electronic applications where reliability and long life are important.
