Variable-Vision Sun Visor
Abstract
Variable-vision visor installed in automobile enables driver to attenuate sunlight and glare selectively without obscuring vision. Hinged to enable it to fold up behind regular visor when not in use. In addition to obvious applications for operators of automobiles and other vehicles, adapted for use in passenger cabin windows in airplanes, buses, trains, and boats. Also used as adjustable glare shields for cathode-ray-tube displays.
