HyperCLIPS

Abstract

Integration of CLIPS computer program into HyperCard computer program combines intuitive, interactive user interface of MacIntosh computer with powerful symbolic computation of expert-system interpreter. HyperCard provides excellent programming environment for quickly developing front end of application program with buttons, dialogs, and pictures, while CLIPS interpreter provides powerful inference engine for analysis and solution of complicated problems. Advantages of both packages available for wide range of uses: rapid prototyping of knowledge-based expert-systems software, interactive simulations of physical systems, and intelligent control of hypertext processes. Written in C language and Pascal.
