Preliminary results for LDEF/HEPP thermal control samples
Abstract
Specimens of Kapton coated with black paint, white paint, and thin film oxides were flown at three locations aboard the Long Duration Exposure Facility (LDEF) to evaluate their resistance to atomic oxygen erosion. Post flight emittance and solar absorptance measurements are compared with pre-flight values.
