Martian channel networks: A revised Strahler approach for quantitative morphometry
Abstract
To characterize the Martian channel tributary networks, empirical rules of Strahler are applied. The proposed statistical analysis is based upon the relationship between the number of network tributaries (branches) and the network order (N).
