Space transportation options for the Space Exploration Initiative
Abstract
The candidate architectures of space transportation vehicles designed for the Space Exploration Initiative are discussed together with the launch systems concepts. Special attention is given to the lunar mission and Mars mission scenarios and the launch- and transfer-vehicle options for Mars and moon missions.
