Abstract
High-temperature, flexible, fiber-preform seal includes axial core and helical windings, and abrasion-resistant sheath. Seals tailored to service in variety of environments. Used between movable and stationary panels in advanced aircraft engines or to seal gaps of high-temperature furnaces.
