Three-Stage Regenerative Sorption Cooler Reaches 65 K

Abstract

Three-stage regenerative sorption cooler produces no measurable vibration, highly reliable, and exhibits efficiency comparable to that of less-reliable mechanical Stirling-cycle cooler. Represents improvement over two-stage sorption cooler described in "Regenerative Sorption Refrigerator" (NPO-17630).
