Computing Thickness Of Sea Ice From Polarimetric SAR Data
Abstract
Artificial neural network developed for computing thickness of sea ice from polarimetric synthetic-aperture-radar (SAR) data. Once neural network trained, no further intervention needed: when stimulated with SAR scattering data, quickly responds with estimate of thickness of sea ice.
