The Modification of Mars Fluvial Surfaces
Abstract
The identification of fluvial deposits on Mars is impaired by modifying geological processes. An analysis of surface patterns of superimposed dunes and channels in paleoflood environments in Washington State and Australia can yield information on buried surfaces.
