Abstract
This position paper specifically addresses questions #1 and #5 in the call for participation in the workshop. The proposed response to question #5 is presented first because it has a major impact on the proposed response to question #1. Question #5 - How can technological devices be integrated and deployed in ways that best support scientific practice? Question #1 - What demands does this new domain place on requirements for collaboration?
