Artemis Vehicle Battery Requirements and Processes
Abstract
- Purpose: - Give an overview of cells, batteries and design features for safety - Show what the hazards are for flying batteries in crewed space vehicles - Show how to control the hazards of batteries and verify that they are functioning as expected - Contact Information - Success of batteries being approved for flight is improved by talking with JSC Battery Safety Group early in the development of hardware
