Materials Data on RbNaLi6(SiO4)2 by Materials Project
Abstract
RbNaLi6(SiO4)2 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb1+ is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Rb–O bond distances ranging from 2.98–3.11 Å. Na1+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.56–2.67 Å. There are four inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form LiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.93–2.05 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.93–1.96 Å. In the third Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.93–1.95 Å. In the fourth Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form LiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.94–2.05 Å. There are two inequivalent Si4+ sites. In the first Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four LiO4 tetrahedra. All Si–O bond lengths are 1.66 Å. In the second Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four LiO4 tetrahedra. All Si–O bond lengths are 1.66 Å. There are six inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Rb1+, two Li1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Rb1+, two Li1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Na1+, three Li1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Na1+, three Li1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Na1+, three Li1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Na1+, three Li1+, and one Si4+ atom.
