Materials Data on Sr3SnO by Materials Project
Abstract
Sr3SnO is (Cubic) Perovskite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded in a linear geometry to four equivalent Sn and two equivalent O atoms. All Sr–Sn bond lengths are 3.66 Å. Both Sr–O bond lengths are 2.59 Å. Sn is bonded to twelve equivalent Sr atoms to form SnSr12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent SnSr12 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent SnSr12 cuboctahedra, and faces with eight equivalent OSr6 octahedra. O is bonded to six equivalent Sr atoms to form OSr6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent OSr6 octahedra and faces with eight equivalent SnSr12 cuboctahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
