Materials Data on CrPd3 by Materials Project
Abstract
CrPd3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cr is bonded to twelve equivalent Pd atoms to form CrPd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CrPd12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent PdCr4Pd8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent CrPd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent PdCr4Pd8 cuboctahedra. All Cr–Pd bond lengths are 2.77 Å. Pd is bonded to four equivalent Cr and eight equivalent Pd atoms to form distorted PdCr4Pd8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PdCr4Pd8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent CrPd12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent PdCr4Pd8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent CrPd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent PdCr4Pd8 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.77 Å.
