Materials Data on CeYCo4 by Materials Project
Abstract
CeYCo4 is Hexagonal Laves-derived structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Y and twelve equivalent Co atoms. All Ce–Y bond lengths are 3.07 Å. All Ce–Co bond lengths are 2.94 Å. Y is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and twelve equivalent Co atoms. All Y–Co bond lengths are 2.94 Å. Co is bonded to three equivalent Ce, three equivalent Y, and six equivalent Co atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing CoCe3Y3Co6 cuboctahedra. All Co–Co bond lengths are 2.51 Å.
