Materials Data on NaMnP2NO10 by Materials Project
Abstract
NaMnP2NO10 crystallizes in the monoclinic Cc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.30–2.76 Å. Mn4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MnO6 octahedra that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mn–O bond distances ranging from 1.78–2.08 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent MnO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 46–56°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.62 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MnO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 49–51°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.64 Å. N5+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The N–O bond length is 1.19 Å. There are ten inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mn4+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Na1+ and one Mn4+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one Na1+ and one O2- atom. The O–O bond length is 1.43 Å. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one N5+ and one O2- atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mn4+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mn4+ and one P5+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mn4+ and one P5+ atom. In the eighth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Na1+ and two P5+ atoms. In the ninth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Mn4+, and one P5+ atom. In the tenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Na1+ and one P5+ atom.
