Materials Data on NaZnPH2(CO3)2 by Materials Project
Abstract
NaZnPH2(CO3)2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbca space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.49 Å. Zn2+ is bonded in an octahedral geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Zn–O bond distances ranging from 2.02–2.34 Å. There are two inequivalent C1+ sites. In the first C1+ site, C1+ is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.27 Å) and one longer (1.28 Å) C–O bond length. In the second C1+ site, C1+ is bonded in a water-like geometry to one H1+ and one O2- atom. The C–H bond length is 1.10 Å. The C–O bond length is 1.44 Å. P5+ is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to three O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.53 Å) and two longer (1.54 Å) P–O bond length. There are two inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one C1+ atom. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.01 Å) and one longer (1.63 Å) H–O bond length. There are six inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Na1+, one Zn2+, and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to one Zn2+, one C1+, and one H1+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Zn2+, and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Zn2+, one C1+, and one H1+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Zn2+, and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Na1+, one Zn2+, and one C1+ atom.
