Operating Procedure Extender For Novel Systems
Abstract
Operating procedures that are used in nuclear power plants are primarily paper. These paper documents are functional for normal operations, but the process has remained relatively unchanged for thirty years. This neglects the digital technology advancements that have been made in that time. There are objectively more efficient ways to present a procedure to an operator using a digital interface. These digital interfaces require structured information to be able to function. This tool takes the procedure that has been written and converts it into the structured from required by the presentation system. This is accomplished through a reliable four phase compilation algorithm.
