Industrial Assessment Center Program Final Progress Report
Abstract
During September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2023 period, the University of Massachusetts’ Industrial Assessment Center completed 36 industrial assessments at plants across New England. Total annual sales for those plants, which employed 2,664 people, were close to $1.15 billion. Our 212 recommendations amounted to potential savings of $7,069,352, which represented 24.14% of the total energy costs these facilities incurred.
