High-Temperature Cyclic Particle Storage Bin Testing
Abstract
The High-Temperature Particle Storage Bin Testing project was designed to answer fundamental questions and provide a demonstration for a small-scale particle-based TES system. This was a first-of-its-kind particle-based TES test system that provided experimental observations of a small-scale TES bin for operation over multiple cycles with particle inlet temperatures up to 800 °C.
