Toward solar light-driven photochemical carbon dioxide separation
Abstract
The feasibility of energy-efficient photochemically driven CO 2 release has been demonstrated in several recent reports, but the regeneration step remains much slower. Recently in Chem, Ahmad et al. reported a fully visible-light-driven CO 2 separation system capable of operating with concentrated sunlight. Here, we discuss this advance and the potential route toward large-scale fully photochemical CO 2 capture.
