Facility Informatics with GeoVisipedia
Abstract
GeoVisipedia (Geospatial Visual Wikipedia) is a new and novel approach to collecting, organizing, sharing and preserving knowledge about nuclear facilities to support nonproliferation efforts. During the first two years of the project (FY17-FY18) a prototype was developed for experimentation and demonstration of the GeoVisipedia concept. The prototype demonstrated the capability of automatically propagating annotation to new satellite imagery of a facility as well as presenting graphical annotation methods to describe the facility.
