Interrogating Selective Metal–Adsorbate Interactions in Metal–Organic Frameworks
Abstract
This final report summarizes the research conducted under project DE SC0019992, a multi-institution collaboration between the University of California, Berkeley, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The overarching goal of the project was to develop a fundamental understanding of the thermodynamic and kinetic factors governing selective gas uptake in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), with the long-term aim of enabling the rational design of next-generation adsorbents for energy-efficient separations.
