Porous Polymer to Modify Fracture Permeability (Final Technical Report)
Abstract
This report describes the results of a project to develop innovative polymer-based materials that can be injected into fractures associated with Enhanced Geothermal Systems at targeted locations away from the wellbore to modify their permeability and consequently control the resulting flowrate through the fracture and the heat exchange with the formation.
