Interaction of degenerate higher order modes in periodic SRF accelerating structures
Abstract
The paper considers the effect of degenerate higher-order mode (HOM) interaction, which may lead to the formation of trapped modes with high shunt impedance. Methods for eliminating these modes are discussed.
