KLOKKOS: Automated test generation for performance-portable programs

Abstract

SAND2024-13830O The KLOKKOS project provides a suite of test generation and validation tools to increase maintainability and portability of Kokkos programs. KLOKKOS, a portmanteau of Klee and Kokkos, is developing an automated test generation for performance-portable programs using Clang/low-level virtual machine (LLVM) and formal methods. KLOKKOS is based on several topics in computer science: the development of symbolic and concolic analysis of LLVM and C++ codes, formal semantics and type theory, C++ templates and language features, LLVM compiler infrastructure, and data parallel primitives. Goated: goal-oriented tensor decompositions in python

SAND2026-20464O Goated performs goal-oriented tensor decompositions in Python, enabling efficient compression of multi-dimensional simulation data. It extends common tensor decomposition methods by incorporating domain-specific knowledge, such as conservation laws in physics, through a penalty term in the optimization process. This approach improves data compression and modeling accuracy across various applications, including physics simulations, by using specialized algorithms and structure-aware subroutines to accelerate solver performance. NN-OpInf

SAND2026-18878O The NN-OpInf tool is a PyTorch-based approach to operator inference that uses composable, structure-preserving neural networks to represent nonlinear operators. Operator inference is a machine learning method for inferring low-dimensional systems from data and polynomial models for system dynamics. However, many systems do not conform to polynomial structures, which NN-OpInf addresses by parameterizing operators with neural networks.
