In the eighth B+0.38- site, B+0.38- is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four Co+1.20+ and four B+0.38- atoms. In the ninth B+0.38- site, B+0.38- is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to three Co+1.20+ and four B+0.38- atoms. The B–B bond length is 1.80 Å.
