Annual SDRD Report including project summaries for FY 2024.
The U.S. Department of Energy developed an electronic reporting spreadsheet to facilitate fleets' preparation of a complete Alternative Compliance (AC) annual report. All fleets that participate in AC are encouraged to use the spreadsheet. The following examples include one AC annual report that uses the spreadsheet and one AC annual report that does not use the spreadsheet. Both examples include all components that must be included in a fleet's AC annual report. For further instructions on how to use the reporting spreadsheet, review the Alternative Compliance Guidance Document.

It is my privilege to present this year’s annual report for the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC). Now rounding out our fourth year of operation, NRIC is poised for successfully delivering our most foundational promise: to accelerate the testing and demonstration of advanced nuclear technology by providing access to national laboratory assets and expertise. Some specific goals include: • Establish and maintain four new experimental facility capabilities: o MSTEC – 2025 o METL – Operational o HeCTF – Operational o Creep Frames – 2026 • Construct and operationalize two advanced reactor test beds (DOME and LOTUS) for integrated technology demonstrations and experimentation – 2028 • Complete minimum of two advanced nuclear technology tests – 2030 o Advanced Construction Technology – 2025 o Advanced Microreactor test in DOME or LOTUS – 2027 & 2029

The US Nuclear Data Program (USNDP) Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) summarizes the work of USNDP for the period of October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021, with respect to the Work Plan for FY21 that was prepared in 2019. The Work Plan and Final Report for USNDP are prepared for the DOE Office of Science, Office of Nuclear Physics. The support for the nuclear data activity from sources outside the nuclear data program is described in the staffing table and in Appendix A. This leverage amounts to about 3.24 FTE scientific, to be compared with 25.095 FTEs at USNDP units funded by the DOE Office of Science, Office of Nuclear Physics. Since it is often difficult to separate accomplishments funded by various sources, some of the work reported in the present report was accomplished with nuclear data program support leveraged by other funding.
