Triangular-wave generator with controlled sweep polarity

Generator, comprised largely of integrated circuits, has operational amplifier connected as integrator to provide linear voltage ramp, pair of logic gates and one-shot multivibrator function as sweep reverse circuit feeding the integrator. Solid state switch effects generator hold capability.

Deformation of a line-element in the phase space at the triangular libration point

The flow in the projection of the phase space into the configuration space is presented in the neighborhood of a neutrally (or critically) stable equilibrium point in the restricted problem of three bodies. The projection is a line-element every point of which has zero initial velocity. After the elapse of various times the mapping (the rotations and elongations) of the line-element is described showing chaotic behavior.

A Uniform Subdivision Method for Triangular Bezier Patches

A subdivision method for Bezier triangles is presented that parallels the development of Lane-Riesenfeld for Bezier Curves. The method is developed from the mathematical description of the patch, and the resulting algorithm does not require evaluation of the blending functions. This method subdivides the triangle uniformly so that the lengths of the sides of the subtriangles are uniformly reduced. This method is a member of the class of methods first presented by Goldman, which contain subdivision methods that arise from degenerate subdivision of Bezier tetrahedra. It is shown that a certain method is a natural extension of the Lane-Riesenfeld results for Bezier curves.
