Adaptive numerical integration program for IBM 1620 II
Adaptation of field infrared terrain analysis spectral correlation program to IBM 7090 and recording tape voltage drift correction procedures
The goal of this project is to evaluate a proposed set of candidate benchmarks being developed by the Standards and Performance Metrics Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C), of which LANL is a member. The QED-C Standards and Performance Metrics TAG has developed implementations of several benchmark codes with the hope and expectation that these codes will be helpful to QED-C members interested in investigating various quantum computer platforms. The benchmark set will be run on LANL’s access to the IBM-Q system with the intent to evaluate the set for scalability, correct execution, and coverage of the application space. The goal is for the QED-C Standards and Performance Metrics TAC to be able to produce a coherent, consistent, scalable set of benchmarks that will run on multiple quantum computing platforms and will be available to members of QED-C, including LANL.

IBM Fortran program for calculation of normative composition of igneous rocks from chemical analyses
CIRCS is modification of IBSNAP Circuit Analysis Program, for use on smaller systems. This data processing system retains the basic dc, transient analysis, and FORTRAN 2 formats. It can be used on the IBM 1620/1311 Monitor I Mod 5 system, and solves a linear network containing 15 nodes and 45 branches.

Multiple precision subroutine source programs for IBM 360
Test procedures and results for accuracy and timing tests of the basic IBM 360/50 FORTRAN 4 /H/ subroutine library are reported. The testing was undertaken to verify performance capability and as a prelude to providing some replacement routines of improved performance.
Set of subroutines provides the FORTRAN user with protected, permanent, disk storage of data on an IBM 1620 Monitor 11-D system. The program consists of a set of four subroutines and a utility program. It allows block data to be transferred directly between assigned core locations and disk storage.
