Microbarograph - ESRL Hi-Res Microbarograph, Hood River - Raw Data

High-precision barometers (Paroscientific 6000-16B-IS) are combined with Nishiyama-Bedard Quad Disk pressure probes, measuring pressure (mb) at the surface, nominally 2 m above ground level. Data are sampled at 20 Hz for potential studies of turbulence. The sensors' high accuracy makes them useful for determining horizontal pressure gradients and their relation to wind ramp events, as well as the temporal variability of pressure associated with mountain wakes and waves. **Note different ASCII file formats for Goldendale (z04) and Walla Walla (z09) sites.**

WREF Field Profiling Lidar-773 / Raw Data

The field profiling lidar #ZX300-773 was deployed on the ground in an open field 880 m south of the Wind River NEON tower in summer 2025. It was co-located with LLNL's Halo XR+ scanning lidar (z05) and Argonne's Waggle Node to capture mountain-valley flows during the warm summer season. The zip files contain high frequency data. The excel files are 10-min averages.

A high-resolution database of mesoscale convective systems and isolated deep convection in the United States for 2004 – 2017

The database provides high-resolution (4-km, hourly) information of mesoscale convective systems (MCSs) and isolated deep convection events (IDC) east of the Rocky Mountains over the contiguous United States from 2004 – 2017. The database contains various characteristics of MCSs and IDC, such as their lifecycle evolutions, lifetimes, spatial coverages, echo-top heights, precipitation features, convective and stratiform separation, convective core features, propagation speed, etc.
