This fact sheet covers what accredited testing is. It highlights the value add of accredited testing. It also describes the types of testing NREL is accredited for in marine energy.
The Davison circulating riser (DCR) is the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL's) pilot-scale recirculating riser reactor system. Coupled with an upstream fluid-bed pyrolysis system, it permits evaluation of catalytic cracking of biogenic feedstocks, as well as coprocessing of biogenic and fossil feedstocks in a commercially relevant pilot fluid catalytic cracker.
This repository builds upon the original work by PMeira at AltDSS-Schema, which aimed to define a structured JSON-based schema for DSS circuit representation. The schema has been packaged in this repository with slight modifications, enabling users to add the package as a dependency for downstream applications
NetCDF L2 data files from the NOAA SHIP ceilometer contain level 2 (L2) data that have gone through the precalculation service and averaging. The profile is set to 4500 m (14,764 ft).
NOAA SHIP ceilometer: netCDF L3 data files have level 3 (L3) data that have gone through the calculation service and contain all the data from the algorithms, including mixing layer height values, and quality index data. L3 default files contain L3 data that use the default preset for a live plot. This dataset consists of CACO Site netCDF L1 data files containing level 1 (L1) data from the ceilometer.
This dataset contains raw data from a Halo StreamLine XR scanning doppler lidar deployed at the BLOC site used to perform vertical stares.
This dataset contains reviewed data from the profiling lidar (Windcube v2.1) deployed on WFIP3's SHIP. The reviewed files herein are based on the lidar's RTD files (i.e., the real-time raw data files at near 1 Hz resolution). The data have been corrected for the motion of the ship.
This dataset contains derived data from the profiling lidar (Windcube v2.1) deployed at WFIP3's SHIP. The derived data files herein are based on the lidar's STA files (i.e., the 10-min average data files). The data have been corrected for the motion of the ship.
Wind profiles from ground-based Doppler lidar at the BLOC site were calculated for each 6-beam profiling scan (one point every ~20 s). The wind speed retrieval uses the Sathe et al., 2015, paper in the references. This lidar was Halo XR #216 through February 24, 2025, Halo XR #217 from February 24, 2025 through April 17, 2025, and again Halo XR #216 after that.
The 10-min wind statistics from ground-based Doppler lidar at the BLOC site were calculated using the Sathe et al., 2015, paper in the references. This lidar was Halo XR #216 through February 24, 2025, Halo XR #217 from February 24, 2025 through April 17, 2025, and again Halo XR #216 after that.
This dataset contains processed data from the Halo XR scanning lidar at the BLOC site used to perform vertical stares.
This dataset contains daily csv files summarizing data from 10-min wind statistics from ground-based Doppler lidar at the BLOC site for the WFIP3 event log. See https://a2e.energy.gov/ds/wfip3/bloc.lidar.10min.z01.c1/summary. This lidar was Halo XR #216 through February 24, 2025, Halo XR #217 from February 24, 2025, through April 17, 2025, and again Halo XR #216 after that.
This dataset contains derived data from the profiling lidar (Windcube v2.1) deployed at WFIP3's BARG. The derived data files herein are based on the lidar's STA files (i.e., the 10-min average data files). Note: this version of the data has been corrected to account for the motion of the barge.
