This study analyzes the cross-range capabilities of solid-fueled ramjets in a Martian atmosphere for applications in entry, descent, and landing. Trajectories and engine operability are characterized using Mach and dynamic pressure operational points. It is predicted that use of atmosphere-breathing propulsion will enable access to additional surface latitudes without the need for orbital plane changes. Development of an integrated design environment facilitates preliminary ramjet design and analysis, and enables sensitivity studies to identify high impact areas of technology development. In addition, additive manufacturing supports prototyping, rapid ground testing, and allows for utilization of complex geometries.

High capacity nonaqueous secondary battery - synthesis and electrochemical studies of dialkyl and diary beryllium compounds, organoberyllium complex salts, and other complex salt solutions
A state of the art review of the aerodynamic design and testing of modern propellers, acoustic and vibration environmental problems and their solutions, and considerations in the integration of the propeller(s) and airframe is presented. Propellers have recently become a focus of attention after having been neglected for many years. The efficient use of propellers as a propulsion medium up to Mach 0.6 was realized at the expense of high noise and vibration. Since the mid-1970s there have been many developments, including the propfan, with an aerodynamic efficiency of 80% at Mach 0.8 now seriously challenges the fanjet. The advent of the supercritical airfoil is another significant development beginning to influence propeller design.
The Latching End Effector (LEE) forms part of the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) for which Spar Aerospace Ltd, Space Systems Division is the prime contractor. The design, testing and performance evaluation of the Latching End Effector mechanisms is the subject of this paper focusing on: (1) ambient, thermal and vibration testing; (2) snare/rigidize performance testing and interaction during payload acquisition; and (3) latch/umbilical test results and performance.
